Hays County Crime Stoppers’ efforts lead to 8 arrests this year

Efforts by the Hays County Crime Stoppers and the Hays County Sheriff’s Office Repeat Offender Program have seen an increase in fugitive apprehensions recently. Since the beginning of the year, eight fugitives from the Hays County Crime Stoppers Most Wanted list have been arrested.

Bloody moon: Lunar eclipse turns moon red

A lunar eclipse Sunday night turned the moon blood red. The total lunar eclipse was seen in most of North America and much of Africa, Europe and South America, according to NASA.

It’s hard to see images on the evening news and learn of the atrocities taking place in Ukraine, and not feel something. Ordinary people just trying to live suddenly being forced to take only what they can carry and run for their lives courtesy of a brutal Russian dictator and his army.
