Intuitive Health have announced the acquisition of Premier ER & Urgent Care, a Texas-based hybrid emergency room and urgent care clinic with four Texas locations in San Marcos, Temple, Waco and Woodway.
Members of the Hays County Commissioners Court at its meeting in late March approved the proclaiming of April 6 as Tejano Day in the county, an observance that coincides with the day in 1813 when Tejano leaders issued the first declaration of Texas independence. This day honors the 'many and diverse contributions made by Tejanos–Texans of Spanish, Mexican, African and Indigenous descent,' many who have contributed in large measure to the history and heritage of Texas for more than three centuries. Included are San Marcos de Neve and the cities of San Antonio, Nacogdoches, Victoria, Goliad and El Paso.

This is Tejano Day in Hays County
The Farmer Fred’s Garden Spring Carnival is set for today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center, located across the highway from the San Marcos City Hall. Due to anticipated weather concerns, organizers decided to move the event from its original location.
The US economy is currently enduring some major headwinds. High inflation persists even as the Federal Reserve raises interest rates. Fallout from the escalating interest rates is affecting a number of industries and individuals, with ripple effects throughout the economy. Geopolitical uncertainty is also a factor, with not only Russia-Ukraine, but several other areas showing signs of rising tensions. However, while there will almost certainly be some bumps along the way, I don’t anticipate a major meltdown. In fact, our latest projections call for notable growth over the next five years. Let’s briefly explore a few key issues.
