The Texas Disposal System in honor of the recent Earth Day will unveil one of the city’s newest murals. The unveiling is at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, according to officials with TDS.
Many are aware that Hays County is one of the nation’s fastest growing economic regions, with expansion needs linked to its population size.

Five generations of the Murillo family came together on Saturday, April 15 to celebrate their connection to San Marcos and the birthday of their oldest relative, Eva Sanchez, who recently turned 85.

Despite being one of the several transfers that made the decision to come to San Marcos, Texas State cornerback Joshua Eaton has emerged as one of the vocal leaders for the Bobcats.

Texas State rallied for five runs in the top of the ninth inning as the Bobcats defeated the Troy Trojans 9-5 to avoid the sweep.
Disaster relief will be available for state agencies, local governments and some nonprofits “on a cost-sharing basis” to repair and replace damaged facilities and conduct other emergency work, the White House said.
