CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos announced the promotion of Anna Gore to the role of chief nursing officer.

Imagine you’re a kid starting a lemonade stand. You take on all the risk, using your allowance to buy lemons, sugar and plastic cups. You are prone to market variables, such as the lack of foot traffic from neighbors. Yet you soldier on, craft a somewhat persuasive but mostly adorable sales pitch, and sling enough cups to keep your piggy bank fat and happy for a while.
While supporting all the propositions for the San Marcos school district, I’m particularly excited about proposition 4 - a natatorium for San Marcos High School. Providing a pool on campus would acknowledge the need for onsite training of our swim team.

Sedrickia Wynn, Grady Leonard, Aiden Hayes and Megan Ombres all had top-10 school marks in their respective events and nine Bobcats had 10 podium finishes at the Texas Invitational on Saturday as Texas State wrapped up its final meet of the regular season.
