The Embassy Suites will host lunch at the Charles S. Cock House Museum, located at 400 W. Hopkins Street, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Oct. 2.

The old jukebox at the Devil’s Backbone Tavern and Dancehall in Fischer, just outside of Wimberley, is playing Janis Joplin again.
