Brett Elliott is on his way back to Starkville.

According to multiple reports and confirmed by the Daily Record, Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen has tapped Texas State offensive coordinator Brett Elliott to serve as the program’s next quarterback’s coach.

Elliott served as a graduate assistant under Mullen from 2012 to 2014 before leaving to join Everett Withers’ staff at James Madison in 2014.

Wide receivers coach Parker Fleming wil be named co-offensive coordinator alongside Zak Kuhr. Texas State hired Kuhr in January to serve as co-offensive coordinator with Elliott.
