Bobcats survive five-setter against Little Rock
Texas State edged out Little Rock on the road on Saturday, defeating the Trojans, 3-2 (25-23, 11-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-7). The win secures the Sun Belt title outright for the Bobcats and locks the team in as the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
Junior outside hitter Cheyenne Huskey led the team with 12 kills, followed by freshman outside hitter Sarabi Worsley-Gilbert with 11. Freshman setter Emily DeWalt recorded her 18th double-double of the season with 39 assists and 13 digs.
Texas State (23-6, 14-1 Sun Belt) will close out the season on the road, heading to UT-Arlington on Friday to take on the Mavericks (15-10, 9-6) at 6:30 p.m.
