The Sun Belt Conference announced Texas State senior guard Brooke Holle received the first Player of the Week award of her career on Monday.

Holle led the Bobcats to their fourth consecutive win on Sunday, defeating Dartmouth on the road, 61-51. The Austin Westlake graduate racked up 11 points, seven rebounds and two steals against the Big Green. Holle also made a 3-pointer in Sunday’s contest, leaving her nine triples away from cracking the program’s top-10 list.

“I’m very proud of Brooke and her accomplishments as a Bobcat this far. The hard work that she has put into academics, her team and our program does not go unnoticed by our Bobcat family,” head coach Zenarae Antoine said in a statement. “It is great to see that the Sun Belt Conference is also recognizing her abilities as well. It’s a GREAT day to be a Bobcat!”

Texas State (6-2) will play in the second of its three-game road trip on Wednesday, matching up with Morgan State (3-7) in Baltimore at 11 a.m.
