State adding turf, remodeling dugouts at Bobcat Ballpark

Texas State began construction at Bobcat Ballpark earlier this month.
The Bobcats are making changes to the stadium by removing their grass field and replacing it with turf. The mound, however, will remain as a dirt surface. Additionally, the dugouts are being remodeled inside Bobcat Ballpark.
The information was disclosed in a tweet by Chris Thompson, Texas State's Director of Facilities and Game Operations. The tweet and his Twitter account have since been deleted.
