Texas State Softball released its schedule on Tuesday which features 47 regular season games, including 28 at home and eight again Power 5 opponents.
Friday’s momentum didn’t carry over to Saturday early on for Texas State.
San Marcos hasn’t been good down the stretch of games recently and that has been the primary cause of the team's struggles during its current four-game losing streak.
With spring just a few short months away a few races are starting to appear as “in-person” events.

San Marcos Academy enjoyed a good win Thursday night over I-35 rival New Braunfels Christian Academy at the McCoy-Remme Athletic Complex.
Deep down, Lauryn Thompson knows her lone year at VCU was good for her. She knows it was a needed experience, humbling in every way. It just wasn’t an enjoyable one.
