San Marcos competed at the TABC Showcase where the Rattlers won all three of their games. Despite graduating what is considered to be one of the greatest senior classes in program history, the Rattlers are looking to continue the championship standards.

San Marcos made a splash at the State 7-on-7 Tournament advancing to the Championship Bracket after beating both Cy-Falls and Timber Creek. San Marcos advanced to the second round of the tournament before falling to A&M Consolidated.

Texas State opens Bobcat Stadium with the first ever meeting between the Bobcats and the Jackson State Tigers. Much like the Bobcats, the Tigers are also in the middle of a transition with the departure of head coach Deion Sanders.

Bobcats host Jackson State in home opener
Texas State Athletics received a substantial gift from Benny and Michele Boyd to help with the Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Complex renovation and addition. In recognition of one of the largest gifts to the project, Texas State will name the Legacy Suites level at Bobcat Stadium after the Boyd family.
Game: San Marco @ San Antonio Madison, 7:30 p.m. at Heroes Stadium History: Madison leads the overall series at 10-3 Last Meeting: San Marcos toppled Madison in overtime 31-24, to seal their first win of the 2022 season. It was their first win over the Mavericks since the 2005 season.
The initial matchups for the MAC-SBC Challenge were released by the conference office Thursday. The Texas State women's basketball team will host Bowling Green while the men's team is making the trip to take on Miami (OH). Both contests will take place on Nov. 11.
San Marcos continue their march to Fall with an early season road trip, making the journey into San Antonio to battle the Madison Mavericks.
