Optical retailer to open in San Marcos; local brewery partners with Austin-based company

Optical retailer Eyemart Express will open its first store in San Marcos on Jan. 17 at the Guadalupe Crossing Shopping Center.

TXST requires negative COVID tests for students living on campus

Texas State University students living in on-campus housing and the Bobcat Village Apartments will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to moving in. Students, faculty and staff received an email from university president, Dr. Denise Trauth, requesting the campus community to take a COVID-19 test before returning from the holiday break.
