Nonprofits' Baby Day and Día del Niño Unite

On Saturday, April 27, the San Marcos community will be abuzz with festivities as two beloved events, Baby Day and Día del Niño, come together to celebrate and honor the children of the community. Baby Day, hosted by Start Smart Hays & Caldwell, and Día del Niño, hosted by Parents as Teachers, are both free, family events dedicated to serving and celebrating the children in our community.

Ted Breihan Open Golf Tournament for the LBJ Museum held at Kissing Tree

Sponsored by Carbajal Associates are Pedro Quintero, Jesse Sanchez, Jerry De-Leon and Victor Wallace. For second place each member received a wine chiller with a pewter casting of the US Presidential Seal.

Third place team is holding their prize of a pewter flask with the US Presidential Seal. The team is sponsored by Alpha Power USA and includes Jason Labree, Cody Labree, Richard Denis and Jacob Ruppert.

Hector Lozano from Texas Roadhouse was the closest to the pin.

Since the expiration of COVID-19-related provisions requiring states to keep residents enrolled in Medicaid, an estimated 2.1 million Texans have lost their coverage. Texas has by far the highest number of uninsured in the country and has removed significantly more individuals from coverage than any other state.
