Texas State ended their final home game of the year on a high note, beating the No. 21 Troy Trojans 8-6 in extra innings on a walk off two-run home run by second baseman Chase Mora.

Chenoa Tremblay, a project scientist at the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute was the keynote speaker at the Math in Space event at Texas State. She discussed her work using the COSMIC array to search for extraterrestrial life in space and how math is critical to it.

SETI and the search for extraterrestrial life

The quest to determine whether or not humans are the only intelligent life forms in the universe is ongoing. Though there has been no definitive proof as of yet, experts are still searching. Chenoa Tremblay, a project scientist at the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute, delivered the keynote address during the Math in Space and the Unbreakable Bonds of STEM event hosted at Texas State on in April.

For almost a year she has been blatant about having an affair and has abused and disrespected our son and two of her three daughters. Flood victims urged caution upon returning home

As East Texas residents return to clean up their homes and businesses after extensive flooding earlier this month, the Texas Department of State Health Services urged residents and business owners to exercise caution. Among the recommendations: • Never use gasoline- powered generators or charcoal grills indoors. Keep them outside, at least 20 feet from homes to avoid possible carbon monoxide poisoning. Direct generator engine exhaust away from windows and doors
