Gary Job Corps celebrates Mardi Gras 2024
The Gary Job Corps Security and Corrections Cadets have assisted with traffic and crowd control for numerous events.
Their most recent endeavor was the San Marcos Mardi Gras parade.
For over 20 years, the Gary Center has assisted with Sights and Sounds of Christmas, MLK Parade, Juneteenth, Mermaid Parade, Pride Parade, Jamaica at St. John’s and St. Michael’s Catholic Churches, OctoBEARFest at San Marcos Academy, 4th of July Parade in Martindale, LBJ Bash, Texas State football games and graduation ceremonies, to name a few of the many activities from the helping hands of the staff and students from the Gary Job Corps Center.
