Texas State University’s Division of Dance presents Interludes of Reinvention in Evans Auditorium Nov. 9 through Nov. 11 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Division of Dance is proud to present “Interludes of Reinvention,” a concert showcasing the works of the BFA Performance and Choreography seniors. These pieces will be presented Nov. 9-11 in Evans Auditorium.
“Interludes of Reinvention” aims to take the audience on a journey of self-discovery with explorative movement and choreography. Eight dance pieces will be presented with a brief intermission. Dance Division seniors have discovered who they are as performers and choreographers while pushing themselves to approach their art form in innovative ways.
Come experience the final step for these seniors in completing their degree. This event will celebrate the hard work and dedication these students have displayed during their four years at Texas State University.
“Interludes of Reinvention” will be presented from Nov. 9 to Nov. 11 in the Evans Auditorium. Tickets are $15 for the public and $10 for TXST students, faculty and staff. Purchase tickets online at txstatepresents.com.
The BFA Senior Thesis concert occurs every November and presents the works of graduating seniors. BFA candidates will choreograph/perform in a series of pieces in order to fulfill the last requirement before obtaining their Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography.
