Texas Performing Arts recently unveiled its 2022-23 season of interdisciplinary performances featuring significant artists from around the world.
Central Texas Theatre Academy, the City of Buda and the Inspired Minds Art Center will present “Shrek: the Musical” July 1-3, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Buda Amphitheater and City Park, 204 San Antonio St.
Reusing and recycling is the concept behind the latest gallery exhibit, Something Old to Something New, which features 80 innovative artworks by 70 area artists. The exhibit, which is on display throughout the first-floor galleries of the Price Center, will close today with an afternoon reception from 2 - 4 p.m.
The San Marcos Art League will present its annual member’s show, ‘The Big SMAL Show’ at the Price Center and Garden this coming July and August. The show will feature works from art league members. SMAL will also be accepting new members who want to join and present their works in the exhibition. The show will run from July 1 through Aug. 27 for patrons to view; artists must submit their work in person at the Price Center on June 29-30 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. This show will feature several works in a variety of styles and mediums.

Anchor Bar opened this week, bringing with it delicious chicken wings, a wide variety of bar foods and cold drinks.
