My journey in the past took me to the discovery of the book, Leadership: Lessons of Jesus, by Bob Brines and Ray Pritchard, located in the small book section at the Post Exchange, USMA, West Point. It spoke to my heart and I want to share it with you. As a leader, Jesus never wrote a book, never taught a seminar, never owned a house, never led an army…but his leadership gives these lessons:

The San Marcos Lions Club recently made donations to local groups, including Surge Soccer, Books are the Beginning, CASA of Central Texas and Scheib Opportunity Center.

There is not a gardener I meet who doesn’t crave plants that are all about blooms, birds and butterflies. Shoot add bees to it and you would have a surefire award winner. The Dallas Arboretum has one of the superior plant trials in the country and they gave the award for most Pollinator Friendly Perennial to Rockin’ Playin’ the Blues salvia.
Texas State University’s Division of Dance presents STREAM in Motion 7.0 in the Harrison Performing Arts Center on Feb. 28 and March 1 at 9 a.m.
