Reception, presentation at Centro on Tuesday
“The Color Line & The Border: William Ellis, From Texas Slave to Mexican Millionaire” will be the subject of a presentation Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos.
The presentation at 6:30 p.m. by Karl Jacoby and Robert “Chip” Williams will be preceded by a reception at 6 p.m. Centro is located at 211 Lee Street in San Marcos.
Co-sponsor is Texas State University’s Center for the Study of the Southwest.
