HOPPY EASTER

Farmer Fred's Garden Spring Carnival, hosted by the city of San Marcos, was one of more than two dozen Easter egg hunts in Hays County. The carnival also included plenty of games, prizes and, of course, candy. Lots and lots of candy. Top left, Lucina Coy was all smiles at the egg hunt. Top right, Sebastian Aguilar was off to the races as fast as he could go as soon as the horn sounded for the start of the hunt. Bottom right, the madness ensued with hundreds of kids hunting eggs across four hunts separated by age groups.
