Volunteers wanted to serve on San Marcos boards, commissions

The City of San Marcos is looking for volunteers to serve the community on several boards and commissions.

According to the city, interested citizens may fill out an application for consideration by Friday, Jan. 10. The form can be found on the city's website and must be submitted online, via fax, or in person at the City Clerk’s office. San Marcos City Council is scheduled to review the applications and make appointments on Feb. 4, 2020, and volunteers will take their seats on Mar. 1, 2020.

The following boards and commissions have vacancies, though qualifications, duties and the length of service vary:
