Back in the mid-1960s a Tufts University professor, Dr. Jean Mayer, coined a phrase he called 'creeping overweight.' The research he had done with nutrition and weight control demonstrated that as a person aged they tend to gain weight.

Texas State finishes strong at Silverado Showdown, Sun Belt Championships up next for the Bobcats

On the final day of the Silverado Showdown, Texas State had their lowest round and climbed the leaderboard to finish 15th. Matilda Svahn led the Bobcats with a top-30 finish at the Silverado Resort and Spa.

TXST’s Yancy claims Sun Belt Athlete of the Week

After posting the fastest men’s 200 time in school history and ranking fifth in the country in the same event, Texas State’s Dominick Yancy was named the Sun Belt Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 2, the conference office announced.
