Texas State Bobcats lose to rival UTSA Roadrunners

Texas State baseball (75) faced the University of Texas San Antonio (11-3) Tuesday, March 7 at Bobcat Ballpark where the Bobcats lost to the Roadrunners 11-2. This was Texas State’s second loss to UTSA and its fifth loss of the season.
Adelaida Sierra takes the circle in the Lady Rattlers District Opener against Schertz Clemens. San Marcos knocked off the Lady Buffaloes 4-3 in a tight game.

Lady Rattlers take district opener in close win

It was opening night in 6A District-27 softball Tuesday as the San Marcos Lady Rattlers (4-9, 1-0) escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Schertz-Clemens Buffaloes starting district play with a bang.

San Marcos falls at home to New Braunfels Unicorns

It was a tough outing for the San Marcos Lady Rattlers as they fell to New Braunfels 1-0 in the final home game of the season.
Sunray Estrada throws the pitch back in the Rattlers home opener against Kerrville Tivy. Estrada broke open the game against Davenport in the Comal Tournament with a bases-clearing RBI double sparking a 10-run fourth inning in San Marcos’ 10-6 win.

Rattlers rally around each other for 3-game winning streak

San Marcos closed out the Comal Tournament on a high note as the Rattlers finished tournament play on three-game winning streak to improve their record to 5-6-1 overall.

Texas State beats Winthrop to close out Owl Classic

In the Saturday morning finale of the Owl Classic, Texas State reset from its previous loss against Winthrop to drop a 5-0 shutout win on the Eagles. Texas State would finish 4-1 in the tournament and improve to a 16-5 record on the season.

Texas State’s historic run ended in the Sun Belt Tournament Semifinals as the Bobcats fell to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns 64-58.

Dream season comes to an end

San Marcos could not overcome a hot shooting San Antonio Brennan team, as the Rattlers fell 82-54.
Taelour Pruitt goes into the teeth of the JMU defense in the Sun Belt Championship Game. Pruitt finished the game with 12 points.
