Slam Marcos was back on the rails Friday as Texas State connected with four home-runs in eighth innings to pull off a comeback victory with an 8-7 win over the North Dakota State Bison.

Texas State baseball (75) faced the University of Texas San Antonio (11-3) Tuesday, March 7 at Bobcat Ballpark where the Bobcats lost to the Roadrunners 11-2. This was Texas State’s second loss to UTSA and its fifth loss of the season.
It was opening night in 6A District-27 softball Tuesday as the San Marcos Lady Rattlers (4-9, 1-0) escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Schertz-Clemens Buffaloes starting district play with a bang.
It was a tough outing for the San Marcos Lady Rattlers as they fell to New Braunfels 1-0 in the final home game of the season.
In the Saturday morning finale of the Owl Classic, Texas State reset from its previous loss against Winthrop to drop a 5-0 shutout win on the Eagles. Texas State would finish 4-1 in the tournament and improve to a 16-5 record on the season.
