The initial matchups for the MAC-SBC Challenge were released by the conference office Thursday. The Texas State women's basketball team will host Bowling Green while the men's team is making the trip to take on Miami (OH). Both contests will take place on Nov. 11.
San Marcos continue their march to Fall with an early season road trip, making the journey into San Antonio to battle the Madison Mavericks.

Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine marks the start of football season in the state of Texas which features over 1,500 Texas high schools and 49 colleges. This year Texas State and San Marcos High School are predicted to compete for postseason bids in the respective conferences and districts.
