It was a bounce-back game for San Marcos as the Rattlers defeated the Schertz-Clemens Buffaloes 11-1.

It was a success day at the District 27 Track Meet as multiple San Marcos athletes qualified for Area and brought home gold.
Texas State completed their sweep of Marshall with a thrilling 5-4 win over the Thundering Herd via a Davis Powell walkoff single in the ninth inning.
San Marcos saw their eight game winning streak snapped as the Rattlers fell to the East Central Hornets 3-1.
A topic among runners is how much water is needed on a run. Much of this depends on the body size, the temperature during the day, and how much of the runner is muscle. The body weight average of water in males is between 56% and 59% and in females it is between 47% and 50%. We drink water, we bathe in water, and use water in cooking many meals. People in general, and runners especially, have a need for water. There are not many times when a person doesn’t want or need water.
It was a rough night for San Marcos as the Rattlers fell to the East Central Hornets 16-1 in both the district finale and on senior night.
A stellar pitching performance by junior starting pitcher Levi Wells was enough for the win as Texas State knocked off Marshall 5-1.
Texas State softball opened its three-game series against Louisiana with a 5-3 loss.
