It was a rough night for San Marcos as the Rattlers fell to the Schertz Clemens Buffaloes 16-2.
Ashton Callahan won men’s 400 in his first collegiate race in that event, Melanie Duron claimed the top spot in the women’s shot put, and seven other Bobcats set a personal- best on Saturday as Texas State track and field completed its weekend at the Bobcat Invitational and Texas Relays.
Cade Manning slides underneath the tag for the steal in the Bobcats 7-6 win over the Arkansas State Red Wolves. Manning finished the game going 2-3 including a three-run home run in the bottom of the third inning to put Texas State up 5-0.

I was looking through an old scrapbook and came across some photos of runners at various stages of a run. It made me think about what it takes to make a photo stand out from the others and which photos are good enough to make a poster with it. Any photo with you in the picture is always fun to look at. Then the location of the photo can make a difference in whether or not it becomes a classic. Some runners like a photo of a runner out on a country road while others like one in a famous city.
