Mary Facundo, age 69, of San Marcos Texas passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019. She has gone to rest with our heavenly Father, joining her parents Basilisa (Gonzalez) and Marcelino Rivas, Sr. along with her brother Pedro Rivas, Sr.
Mary is survived by her loving husband Pedro Facundo. Mary is also survived by her daughters; Dora Marie Rodriguez (Victor Vasquez III) and Anna Lisa Flores (Aaron Flores), along with her grandchildren; Jeffery Silva (fiancée Marisol Casas), Christopher Flores, and Gabriel and Victor Vasquez IV. Mary will be missed dearly by her sister, brothers and their spouses; Dora Guerra (Jesse deceased), Marcelino G. Rivas, Jr. (Ninfa Jo), Juan L. Rivas, Sr. (Frances), Joe Manuel Rivas, Roy Rivas (Sara), spouse of the late Pedro Rivas, Sr. (Vivian), and David Rivas, Sr. (Maribel).
Mary was devoted to her family, friends, and community working many years at the local Gil’s Broiler restaurant then later in her life at Travis Elementary. Mary was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace with our heavenly Father.
