Although 2020 didn’t go as planned, the San Marcos Art League unveiled its first batch of Art Squared tote bags during the last art market season, designed by local artist Jo Hunter. This year, the Art League will be rolling out a new design in time for the Art Squared market season in March, and they want help from the community.
The Art League will be holding a design contest, where the winning design will be featured on the 2021 Art Squared tote bag. Instructions on how to enter are as follows:
This year's theme for Art Squared 2021 is connection. Entrants will create a design that shows your interpretation of how Art Squared, or the arts in general, connect people as a community. All artists are different, so the Art League wants to see an artist’s unique style brought into this idea.
