The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce recently handed out the first round of Revive SMTX checks to local businesses.
The chamber of commerce collaborated with the City of San Marcos to help provide financial relief for small businesses in San Marcos that were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We want to sincerely thank you for providing the resources that allowed us to conduct our business safely and provide peace of mind to our staff and the community we serve,” said Maraya Dunn, owner of Stinky Dawg. “Without your support we would not have been able to stay operational through the pandemic.”
Funding was allocated for the safety of the San Marcos community. The funds can only be used for operational safety, sanitation training, PPE, and digital redesign for social distancing.
