San Marcos participated in the Austin Westlake 7-on-7 State Qualifying Tournament on Friday. The team defeated Kyle Lehman, 26-25, and Bastrop, 13-7, and fell to the Chaparrals, 25-19, to advance out of pool play. The Rattlers were defeated by Cedar Park, 28-18, in the State Qualifying round.
