Volunteers gathered Saturday morning for the fifth annual Fall River Clean Up. The event covered areas of the San Marcos River between Sewell Park and Stokes Park.
Keep San Marcos Beautiful set up at City Park Rec Hall to collect trash and give volunteers a gift for their service.
During the 2020 fall river clean up, an estimated 2,355 pounds of trash were collected.
