Operation Turkey volunteers began preparations Wednesday to serve thousands of meals Thanksgiving meals. Volunteers gathered at Texas Roadhouse in San Marcos to begin making the holiday dishes. Operation Turkey is working hard to ensure the homeless and less fortunate receive a warm meal this Thanksgiving for the 22nd consecutive year. In 2020, Operation Turkey provided more than 33,000 meals to the homeless and less fortunate in Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Florida. This year, Operation Turkey will continue to follow CDC guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.
