Kyle celebrates ribbon cutting of Mary Kyle Hartson Park

After a year in design and development, Mary Kyle Hartson Park opened with a celebratory ribbon cutting.

The city welcomed guests to explore the park’s improvements, while commencing holiday cheer on Wednesday.

“As cities begin to grow in different directions, their historic downtowns are sometimes forgotten,” Councilmember Robert Rizo said. “But thanks to some special citizens, the chamber of commerce and our city council, we are not going to see that happen in the city of Kyle. We are going to revitalize our downtown. We’re going to bring more people to this area. We’re going to remember how important downtown is to us.”
