National VFW Auxiliary President Jean Hamil recently visited San Antonio, where the Department of Texas President of the VFW Auxiliary, Karen Kaylor, gave Hamil a tour of the city.
Hamil shopped at Market Square, had a horse carriage ride, visited the Veterans Plaza where Councilman Clayton Perry welcomed her and introduced her to some of the city’s history.
Hamil also toured the Alamo and ended her trip at James B. Sprague Memorial VFW Post 8541 in San Antonio, where she received her own Stetson hat to become a true Texan.
