A 21-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle accident in San Marcos.
Bryson Waggle, 21, was killed after his vehicle struck a tree near Old Ranch Road 12 and Blanco Street at approximately 11:54 p.m. on Friday.
Officials said the San Marcos Police Department, San Marcos Fire Department and Hays County EMS responded to a report of a major collision late Friday night. The first officer who arrived at the scene located the driver of a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta — later identified as Waggle — unconscious and not breathing, police said.
