San Marcos’ Spring Game was a dream turned into reality.
The coaching staff had four weeks to prepare for a sneak peek of next year's roster and to make the end-of-camp scrimmage fair, they split the Purple and White teams as evenly as possible.
“The key is to make the teams and you make the matchups right,” head coach John Walsh said. “You make sure Jay Simmons is going against Brendan Jones, you make sure Jake Darling is going against a good tackle. And so we spend time on making sure the teams are good.”
