The Hays County Local Health Department recorded one fatality and 892 COVID-19 cases in its weekly report as the positivity rate rose to over 25%.
The county also reported a 892 weekly case rate per 100,000, a 64.3 daily case rate per 100,000 and four weekly new hospitalizations per 100,000 in the weekly report, which includes information from June 23-29.
HCLHD reported 10 hospitalizations over the past seven days in its weekly report. The county considers 892 cases active. The seven-day positivity rate for Wednesday’s report was 26.56%.
