Forecast forces change in festival

The San Marcos CISD has altered its schedule for Saturday’s Music at our Schools Festival at San Marcos High School.

Due to a rainy and possibly stormy forecast, the parade, bus maze and carnival rides have been canceled, the district says, adding that the goal is to reschedule those events possibly next month.

All music performances will continue as scheduled inside the SMHS Performing Arts Center and all food vendors will be moved inside to the cafeteria. All performances scheduled to take place on the outside stage will be moved to the stage inside the cafeteria.
