Two of Texas’ congressional representatives are calling on President Biden to take action on requests from the state for funding to address the repercussions of the ice storm that hit the state earlier this month.
U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett and U.S. Rep.Greg Casar sent a request Thursday to President Biden urging him to grant the request for a major disaster declaration submitted recently by Gov. Greg Abbott.
Central Texas was significantly affected by the storm which resulted in infrastructure damage and the loss of power for thousands of residents.
