Police are investigating the deaths of two Texas State students as a murder-suicide.
A friend found Matthew Pfluger and Connor Shannon, both 24, dead at a residence at the 1400 block of Highland Drive around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, officials said. According to police, both were residents of the home and close friends.
Police said that an initial investigation discovered that Pfluger shot Shannon multiple times. Pfluger was found with a self-inflicted gun wound to the head in the backyard.
