Live Oak Health Partners cut ribbon on new clinic

Live Oak Health Partners (LOHP), part of the Central Texas Medical Center family, cut the ribbon on its newest clinic location in April.

With the help of San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, the clinic’s staff Ouida Lacey, FNP-C, Angel Diaz and Faith Parsons snipped the ribbon ceremoniously opening the clinic under its new leadership.

“It is always a good day when we are able to grow our Live Oak Health Partners and CTMC family,” CTMC CEO and President Anthony Stahl said. “It is a joy and a privilege for Live Oak Health Partners to begin operation of this practice. It gives us another convenient access point to further extend the healing ministry of Christ to our San Marcos community and beyond.”

Wednesday’s ribbon cutting ceremony marked the end of the transition to LOHP for the practice, which was formerly Randolph Family Medicine under Mark B. Randolph, M.D. The clinic will continue to focus on primary care for the entire family, making it LOHP’s sixth primary care location — the fourth in San Marcos. As part of the CTMC family, LOHP patients are easily referred for specialized services such as CT scans or MRIs.

The clinic is accepting new patients. Make an appointment by calling 512-878-6330. For more information on any of the Live Oak Health Partners locations or providers, visit their website.

Live Oak Health Partners (LOHP) was formed in 2012 by joining two existing medical practices in San Marcos: Central Texas Medical Associates and Specialty Physicians of Central Texas. It is the first locally operated multi-specialty group in Hays County. More than 20 primary care doctors, specialty doctors and nurse practitioners provide high-quality coordinated medical care to the citizens of Hays County and the surrounding communities. LOHP specialty care services include allergies/ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, critical care, obstetrics and gynecology. Several Live Oak surgeons perform procedures using the physician-guided da Vinci robotic system.

The Live Oak Community Clinic operates the clinical services at the Hays County Health Department, providing family care, well-child exams and immunizations to Hays County residents in need.

LOHP also has locations in San Marcos, Kyle and Wimberley.
