The President and CEO of United Way of Hays and Caldwell Counties, Michelle Harper, was one of five Texans recently appointed to the Texas Workforce Investment Council.
Her appointment to the council by Gov. Greg Abbott is for a term that will expire on Sept. 1, 2025.
According to a press release, the Texas Workforce Investment Council engages in a collaborative, systematic view of workforce development programs throughout the state and provides planning, evaluation, research, and other functions related to 19 workforce programs.
