Texas State’s historic season came to an end this past Thursday as the Bobcats fell to the SMU Mustangs 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-16) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
It was not the performance Head Coach Sean Huiet was wanting following the Bobcats first At-Large Bid to the NCAA Tournament in program history.
“We are a little frustrated tonight,” Huiet said. “We didn’t think that was our best performance. Against a team like SMU, you have to bring your best. That’s not who we are and how our season has been. We were not ourselves tonight and that’s what the outcome showed.”
