Moreno announces challenge for State Representative 45

Tennyson Moreno announced his campaign for State Representative House District 45 as a Republican last week. Erin Zwiener is the current State Representative for Texas House District 45.

In August, Tennyson, who is a student at Texas State University, announced his bid for County Commissioner Precinct 3 seat. He said that when it was clear that race would have several qualified candidates, Tennyson made the decision to switch races.

“I am running for the Texas House of Representatives to protect families, neighborhoods and our conservative principles in Hays County,” Tennyson said. “High cost of living, and high crime rates are major issues. We need smart, safe, and sustainable solutions to our problems.”
