Melva Jean Bakker

Our beloved Melva Jean Bakker, 62, of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday June 1, 2019. She was at home surrounded by her family.

Melva was a loving person who enjoyed spending her time supporting all her grand kids from going to watch their band/choir concerts, cheer/band performances at the football games and weekend baseball games no matter how big or small the event was they could always count on her. She also loved to go to the beach and travel with her family.

Melva is preceded in death by her parents Ambrocio and Frances Ramirez and Brother Jesse Ramirez.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Keith Bakker, daughter Melissa Guerrero and son Ryan Guerrero and Chelsea Evans; grandchildren Daniel, Nelda, and Jacob Martinez and Xavier (Javi) Evans; Brother Eddie Ramirez spouse Gracie Ramirez and children Joseph and Olivia; and Sister Angie Rodriguez and sons Victor and Rudy Rodriguez; and nephews Ronald and Mark Ramirez; and nieces Regina Wootton, Lori Luera and Jessica Ramirez.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, July 7 at the San Marcos Rec Hall (Lion’s Club), 170 Charles Austin Drive, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
