HALLOWEEN JAM AND TUNES IN MY COSTUME

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND?

The San Marcos Daily Record staff gives recommendations on what to do in our community

This weekend is chock full of fun events. I’ll start with the twoday event, Frights and Sounds, that will be occurring at various venues throughout town. This is perfect for those of you that are already in the Halloween spirit and have a costume you’d like to wear. The participating venues are Jack’s Roadhouse, Tantra, Zelick’s, Red Room Social Lounge, Railyard Bar & Grill, Alchemy Records, The Porch and Sean Patrick’s. It’s $15 for a one day ticket and $25 for two days. Buy tickets here eventbrite.com/e/frightssounds- 2024-the-haunted-renaissance-tickets-1007916414127.

For the full lineup go to taproomsanniarcos.com/events and click on Frights and Sounds. The other event, Halloween Jam, will be on Saturday. Watch a group of mural artists paint the alleyways next to Cat’s Billiards with a Halloween theme from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. According to one of the artists, Austin Sepulveda, Halloween Jam is going to be a “big party.” So have fun y’all and drink responsibly. Please take an uber if it's needed.
