The Fifth Annual Wimberley Film Festival starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Wimberley Village Library, 400 FM 2325.
The public is invited, reservations are not required and admission is free.
Short movies entered into the festival competition will be shown, and judges from Austin, Wimberley and Pearland will select the winners such as Best Movie, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting roles categories. Films by adults will be judged separately from those entered by students. A People’s Choice Award will also be selected and named.
