The San Marcos Academy Bears and San Marcos Hill Country Christian School Rams fight on to live another day as both teams advance to postseason in their respective districts.

Both the Rams and the Bears will look to win their respective Bi-District games in order to keep their seasons alive and add hardware to their trophy cases.

ACADEMY HOSTS LEGACY CHRISTIAN After a heartbreaking loss to the Marble Falls Faith Flames in the district opener, Academy bounced back to win two straight district games to seal second place and the right to host the playoff game.

The Bears will face off with the Beaumont Legacy Christian Academy Warriors.

The Warriors entered the playoffs with a 2-8 and finished third in district to capture the final playoff spot.

Legacy Christian played both San Antonio Lutheran and Bulverde Bracken Christian with the Warriors beating Lutheran 6333 and losing to Bracken Christian 54-48.

The Warriors have averaged 28.4 points per game and have allowed 40.9 points per game. Compared to Academy, the Bears have averaged 38.8 points per game and have allowed 41.7 points per game.

The Bears will also look to take advantage of their strong home record at 4-1.

Kickoff for Academy- Legacy Christian is set for Saturday at 2 p.m.

HILL COUNTRY HOSTS BRYAN ST. JOSEPH The Rams are back in the playoffs after finishing in second place and will host their playoff game against Bryan St. Joseph Eagles.

Hill Country finished the season with a 4-5 record having beat both the Cedar Park Summit Eagles and the Kerrville Our Lady of the Hills Hawks The Eagles also entered the playoffs with a 4-5 record after finishing in second place behind the Bellville Faith Knights.

The Rams enter their showdown with St. Joseph averaging 29.56 points on offense and allowing 45.44 points on defense. The Eagles have averaged 54.22 points per game and allowed 49 points on defense.
