HAYS COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
Who doesn’t want to have someone that they know arrested? The Hays County Government Center Rotunda will transform into a festive jailhouse on Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the annual Brown Santa Holiday Lockup fundraiser, which will provide an opportunity to have someone arrested and brought to the mock jail, all in good spirits of course.
The event will feature a delicious Italian lunch plate with a choice of baked ziti or chicken tetrazzini, a roll, green beans, salad and a drink for only $12. Tables and chairs will be set up for those who wish to enjoy the food, music and fun atmosphere.
For those unable to attend, delivery is available for orders of four or more plates. Payments can be made with cash, checks, Venmo or credit/debit cards.
The highlight of the event is the opportunity to have your boss or coworker “arrested” and brought to the mock jail. To participate in this lighthearted prank, contact Jeff Jordan at (512) 393-7683. All proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
